SUPERVISION BY PROFESSIONAL GUIDE::
Each trek is accompanied by a professional trek leader assisted by adequate member of guide and porters. Our team of Himalayan Trekking Guide is hard ? core of professionals, each one selected after graduation from one of the National Mountaineering Institute and having experience of Himalayan trek and Mountaineering Expeditions. All as are local residents, there intimate knowledge and familiarity which the Kumaon and Garhwal Himalaya is incomparable. The ?Snout Adventure? has selected them after assessing their qualities and ensured that each one is capable of coping with any situation during a trek. All trekking routes offered by us have been put through detailed professional technical surveys in order to ensure that each activity is run with a smooth look like precision. Each trekking operation is planned to the minutest detail and is conducted by responsible leader and guides who know their job well.

PERSONAL CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT::
A List of essential items of personal clothing and equipment is given to each participant. All these items must be in possession at the time of the commencement of the trek with each participant. The ?Snout Adventure? can arrange to provide these items on hire. However, participant may like to bring their own items like trekking shoes, sleeping bag and personal clothing and equipment. All collective equipment for camping and trekking will be provided by us.

COLLECTIVE TREKKING AND CAMPING EQUIPMENT::
The ?Snout Adventure? is fully equipped with all items of trekking and camping for conducting several treks at a time. The participants are provided with high quality, light weight and comfortable modern equipment. Each camp has a central mess and kitchen tent, gas cooking facilities, gas lighting and adequate clothing and equipment with them. A list of such items will be given to each guests will in advance.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE::
Each meal during the trek is carefully planned by our food & beverage Department to ensure that meals ate palatable and wholesome. Availability of items permitting, we shall accommodate food preferences of individual groups. Soft drinks will be made available throughout the trek. While applying for participation in out treks, groups ate advised to indicate their food preferences. These will be met as for as possible.

DAILY ROUTINE DURING TREKS::
Our treks start in the morning after as early breakfast in order that the day?s trekking is done during the morning hours when the sky is clear. In the Himalaya the weather often deteriorates after morning. This early start ensures use of best trekking time as well as early arrival at the day?s destination allowing plenty of time for establishing the camp and sand site seeing around the new place. While on trek, a hot day time meal will be provided whenever possible when necessary, participants will be given packed lunch. Participants trek small group as instructed by the trek leader. The trekking groups are closely followed by a guide with the Nursing Assistant and an F&B person with necessary stores and refreshments. During the trek all your queries will be answered by the participants are offered soft drinks and hot beverages after which they are free to move around for sight seeing or just relax. All sight seeing from the camp will be done in small groups, each group escorted by a guide. No one is permitted to wonder about alone. Before dinner each evening, the trek leader briefs the group in detail about the next day?s program. Where possible a camp fire is arranged at dinner time after which the group retires to there respective tents, already pitched buy the advance party which works independent of the move of the trekking group.

SCOPE::
Our Himalayan treks and Adventure are more than merely endurance test. A variety of nature related interests are inherent in them. Each trek will be accompanied by a choice of book, pamphlets, brochures, maps and sketches on a variety of subject related to the Himalayas as well as the particular trek. During the trek and in the evenings, there will be plenty of occasions to exchange your views amongst other guests, Our guides can give you all information about the local lore. On advance information, relevant of any particulars subject can be arranged for the guests during the trek arranged for specific studies and explorations can be provided with relevant local experts.
